Graduated May 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Central Michigan University with an Economics major. One year in a Masters of Arts program for Economics at Central Michigan University. During this time, I worked as a graduate assistant helping with research and grading.

Experience

While working on my Bachelors degree, I tutored a classmate in International Economics and Intermediate Macroeconomics. As well as having an extensive knowledge of Economics, I also have a very strong math background having taken college courses such as Business Calculus, Statistics, Business Statistics, Fundamentals of Mathematical Economics, Econometrics, and Economic Forecasting.

Hobbies

Currently, I work as a horseback riding instructor. I teach a variety of students from age four to adulthood how to ride as well, as basic horse care knowledge. This has helped me realize my love of teaching and has helped me learn how to explain things in an effective manner. People learn in different ways and it is important to identify how best to communicate with an individual based on how they most efficiently process and retain new information. I also have always had a love of reading. Reading is an important way to gain new knowledge. I feel that it is important to help children feel confident in their reading ability so that they can begin to enjoy reading, and view it as a positive experience.
